telefag, I'm sorry, but your attempts to rile me up have gotten more desperate there are lots of LSU fans on this board who you will have better luck with

I wasn't trying to troll you, just responding to the only semi-intelligent swamp kitten I could find. You see, they look up to you, with your fancy college degree. They'll fall in line to respond for you.

I for one hope that A&M fans are happy with their Chavis.

Calling me stupid when I provided statistics and concrete evidence to support my claims? You are the pinnacle of Aggie stupidity on this board. Go run back to the "Aggie Ark" or TexAgs if you're scared of having a rational conversation. And take the rest of your animals with you, "Noah"

Sure. It's just pathetic that people can't stay on the topic at hand and always resort to Chavis vs Steele. Obviously the Aggies don't care for any rational conversation and would rather derail the entire purpose of the OP, to inform.

The melt has been building up a while for this one. Looks like the extra Smirnoff last night pushed him over the edge

Sorry, but I don't drink. And there's more things wrong with that post that I won't even address.

No one is mad. Only you and your fellow Aggies claim everyone is "melting" or "mad" when a rational thread like this shows up to challenge your off-base claims. It's pathetic, really.

Wow... 10 pages? I don't know if this was mentioned already, but it needs to be said.

Instead of looking at the sack stats as an indictment of Chavis' attacking style.,,. We could just consider Myles Garrett to be a better pass rusher off the edge than the LSU players were. Chavis seems to think so..

Because Chavis is statistically the best ever at stopping spread passing attacks.

Wait until Chavis has him playing contain, dropping into coverage and covering RBs and FBs out of the backfield. Those numbers won't look the same.

While Arky may not be, just about every other program is moving to some form of the spread.

I get that point. But I think he will be a pass rusher in Chavis' scheme more often than not based on some if his commets. He really likes the tandem of Garrett and Hall putting pressure in backfield.

However, if we win the games then I won't care how...

Arky, LSU and Bama still run tradition I-Form or single back. Auburn may line up in the "spread", but make no mistake they are a power running team. MSU, UGA, Tenn, USCe, & UF all attack between the tackles as well. Trying to act like the SEC is moving to an Oregon style O is ignorant.

Also, Chavis' scheme excels at stopping spread teams who try to attack the edge with speed. His D gets gashed by teams, like AU, who spread you out and attack between the tackles, especially with a QB who attacks there.
