you yourself said you've only started watching college football seriously in the last 2 years

I didn't say that I said the last 3. and that's college football that doesn't include pro football. In addition, In that time I've probably watched more than most on the board fwiw.

quote:

You basically parrot Kiper, McShay, and some obscure mock drafters that really don't know shite other than what other misinformed twats are feeding them.

and what do you have? You try and come off as some all knowing a-hole but you have nothing to back up your claims. I've watched games. I've read great articles and heard "inside sources" all you have is your opinions. I have mine nad more.

quote:

You need to stop this charade and stop acting like you are in the end all be all of football when in reality, you were a back up lineman for a year or two of high school and outside of the basic fundamentals of the game, you really don't know shite about the sport.

that's not true at all. you really don't know shite about me so this is a pretty ignorant statement.

edit: will you stop acting like you know anything about the draft and stop annoying all those on the movie board.

why are you even in this thread you haven't contributed yet at all.

ou just lost all credibility spouting this garbage that Locker will be drafted ahead of Mallett.

I stand by it. Have you ever seen Locker play? Right or wrong it's almost a certainty Locker will be taken before and possibly even C. Ponder. It may be the right decision or the wrong one. Huge difference between what will happen and what should happen.

You think you're hot shite when it comes to the NFL draft, but you've proven to be dumber than the average SECranter, and that's pretty sad. What a joke.

you're just mad cus I don't think you're idol will be a 1st rounder.

If this comment is about Mallett, then he is definitely not the only one who thinks that.

There is a great chance he last till early 2nd...

All 3 of those quarterbacks aren't good enough to be taken in the first half of the first round or even the first round period. But terrible teams need a "hero" and will end up wasting millions for a bust.

How about a wager? If Mallett is drafted in the first round, you have to change your favorite team to Arky and have Mallett as your avatar (a Mallett pic of my choosing) until the first Georgia game. If Mallett isn't drafted in first round, I will change my favorite team to Georgia and you can pick an avatar for me to use until Arky's first game.

Great corners shutdown a team's number one receiver and can force coverage sacks. That's a pretty big impact on the game.

Oh, no doubt about it. However, a franchise CB's impact is still not equal to the potential impact a franchise QB or a franchise front-seven pass rusher can make, even though a CB's impact can be significant.

That was my point why as to why CB has never has been taken #1 in the history of the NFL Draft (btw, that's 75 years running), even though I desperately want PP7 taken #1. I'm just not allowing myself to get caught up in my dream wish of which could prove disappointing if you look at historical trends.

Again, there's a reason why Deion Sanders was drafted #5 overall even though he had a pretty big impact on the game as he routinely shut down a team's best offensive playmaker one-on-one thus freeing up a safety or LB to blitz. (FYI, Shawn Springs was the earliest CB ever taken and that was at a mere #3.)

the team has to have been in the 1st round from the start of the draft. If a team trades up no deal.

I don't think your stipulation will make a difference so I'll agree to it, even though I don't know why it matters if a team trades up to pick him in the first round.

So do we have a bet?

Well that changes everything.

Your point? I watch more movies than a lot of people in the film industry (some of whom are on this board), doesn't mean I know shite about the actual production of the movies.

and what do you have?

More sense and a far greater knowledge of the game of football than you.

I've watched games.

So have I. You want a cookie?

quote:

I've read great articles

So you've read articles from biased journalists who don't know shite more about the game of football than the average joe and probably have never played the game at a level higher than peewees. Cool. Color me impressed.

heard "inside sources"

So you are one of the waterheads who pays for ESPN Insider information when they say the same wrong shite on Sportscenter every hour? Awesome.

will you stop acting like you know anything about the draft and stop annoying all those on the movie board.

Whenever you stop acting like you know shite about anything and leave the board, I'll pull back. Until then, keep posting. Makes me feel better everyday that hey, at least I'm not as stupid as him.

If I were you I'd modify that to say if Mallet is taken in the first 32 picks, no matter of who takes him and how they come about getting him, then Adamm loses. I'd also make it a ban bet with him as even if you are wrong, at least you had the chance to rid the board of him.

again wrong answer. Many are former players and were involved with an NFL franchise in some capacity.

no again you're wrong. Inside sources that are used in articles and quoted.

yeah ok... I was upset because a bunch of douche bags said stuff about me on a message board. It didn't bother me. I was just saying I know plenty about sports. I wasn't upset in the least but continue to think what you want. I'm not talking about it anymore.

No you will continue to back track, first you denied even making the claim then you claim it was sarcastic. Although you whined about treatment on the MSB as well. Guess we should expect that when kids are allowed on computer

I can't wait until April 28th! The day adammwilson becomes an Arky and Mallett lover!

I'm not worried, Gamecock. I see Mallett going in the top 15, and at worst sliding to Seattle for the 25th pick.
