I understand having one non conference cupcake on a streaming platform. But these are conference games! 1 of these teams is one of the best teams in the country.

That’s pretty cool. I don’t know what females see in all that Hallmark shite. I would literally rather watch paint dry than that garbage.

It’s not that way at Dodgers games. The Rams are definitely struggling with fans here though.

How did Michigan/USC not do better than that? It was a busy sports day, but that’s got to be a bigger game for NBC.
Also you forget the condoms haven't been relevant in quite some time...and people in Socal dgaf about football in any case.

You dont have a remote? You have to walk to the TV to change it. I changed channels to other games every time the SEC games went to commercial.

Especially now that they have 2 NFL teams.
Have you been to an NFL game in Southern California?
If is a team like Dallas, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Buffalo, Detroit, Minnesota, etc- it’s a road game for the Chargers/Rams

It seems that LA is very much a Lakers and Dodgers town. Football is third fiddle

It’s nonetheless still surprising, cause that’s a relatively “sexy” matchup
It’s the exact type of matchup conference realignment was built around.
And apparently the fans don’t actually care

NFL football had been gone from LA for a while. By the time it came back, the demand side was mostly casual fans and gambling fanatics and fantasy football folks.
If the Rams had never left, it’s probably different.
All that said, the team’s value has doubled since the move back and the fanbase is growing again.
