Would you still say that if it means playing Missouri Thanksgiving weekend rather than LSU, because it almost certainly does. If you do the math, Missouri pretty much has to play their cross divisional rival (whether it's A&M or Arkansas) that weekend, otherwise, they are looking at an open date that weekend which simply would not work. So, if Arkansas gets paired with Missouri, expect A&M to be playing LSU Thanksgiving weekend and Arkansas playing Missouri that weekend.
I like tradition and LSU vs Arkansas gets monster ratings on Thanksgiving and it's been this way for a very long time.
I'm fine with picking up Mizzou over USCe.
As stated our travel costs are cut down and our fans can travel to every single game that borders our state easily.
The bottom line is Arkansas games are always top rated therefore the TV guys will have us in the spotlight just like every year regardless of schedule.
LSU doesn't want to play Arkansas at the end of the year, they want to hurt Arkansas in recruiting if possible (TV) and they want to help their own exposure in Houston. It's not rocket science.

I think I know about UCLA considering I studied on that campus.
If UCLA wanted to, just like Texas A&M, they should be top 15 yearly but they both are not especially considering you are 15 minutes from the beach.

We've finally arrived... We have fan bases merging together in the their hate toward ArKansas. For being an irrelevant program, we sure are generating a lot of hate lately.
I love the thought of playing Mizzou on Thanksgiving weekend and keeping them as our permanent East opponent.
Let's put LSU in the middle of our SEC schedule and whoop that arse in Fayetteville next year so our road is paved to another top 5 finish.
Can we get all these changes done for this year?

It's been 20 years....the gene pool is no better off now than before.
We were forced to bring in some fresh blood to invigorate the species.

Have you made progress on the Harris County Chart I commissioned, Larry Lipshitz?

UCLA = Texas A&M both with bad leadership and both are about to walk into serious TV money.

LSU worried about Arkansas in recruiting?

I think Crow Pie is saying that in 2032 between A&M and Mizzou we will have at least one SEC title.
I kige with that
I kige with that

That's not what I said was it? Nice try to pick apart my statement trying to fit towards your agenda.

Wouldn't Harris County represent only a segement of Greater Houston ? Philadelphia (not a county per se) is only one segment of ten in The Delaware Valley (metro Philly)

LSU and Arkansas are busy jerking each other off... let it play out

It's a pretty big segment. Sao probably should have requested Fort Bend, Montgomery and Brazoria too though

Harris includes the city & suburbs too ?
Posted on 3/3/12 at 7:19 pm to KillianRussell
City and some suburbs. There's a lot of suburban areas that are technically in Houston proper too, unlike in northeast cities like Philly and DC.

I am trying to enjoy being an charter member of the Aggie Optimist Club and not point out the warts of the other mistfits...however maybe this will help and not pour salt in the wound.
I expect the combined forces of Texas A&M and Missouri to have are least 1 BCS Bowl Game Win over the next 14 years. Is that expectation too much to ask?
