Actually, you're wrong.
It is not a forced rivalry, there is a deep seated hatred between these two schools. The problem is that most of the kids on this board don't remember it.
You watch, one game in BR and the Aggies will be crying like the girls they are that they never want to come back here again. It was NOT a pretty series, and it got even more acrimonious at the end.
I'm looking for this one to heat up in a hurry and all these good feelings and 'what shall we call the Game?' shite will disappear under the din of threats of violence and revenge.
What is best in life?
To crush the aggies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their goats.

Most people in Arkansas. I'm sorry if the thoughts and opinions of people in double wides does nothing for me.
Aggies and swamp kittens will view it as our true out of state rivals. Sure, we will play tu again. It is an all encompassing rivalry, that will most likely resume in all sports before it happens again in football, but the Lone Star Rivalry will never die.
The Gulf War? Well that will have it's own feel. The city of Houston will revolve around that game like Dallas does when OU/tu come to town. Don't you worry, piggie. You just don't have anything to offer anyone. Go back to the Big 12.

I think you have me confused with someone who gives a shite about being called piggies or hearing that my state is full of double wides. I'll stand by what I said that I just see yall's coming series as an Ark/Lsu remake that no one sees as a true rivalry. When I think of A&M I think of Texas,not LSU. Sorry that pisses you off but it is true for pretty much everyone. The fact that I think that has nothing at all to do with the fact we are now playing Mizzou that weekend. That is how it should be for us. It makes a lot more sense.
