Why do we hate A&M and wish to belittle their footprint? 
I thought the entire reason for inviting them into the SEC was to expand the SEC reach into TX and to INCREASE viewership (TeeVee rights money) etc.
And, the league shares bowl revenue money and we are supposed to HATE the team that might actually pull their own weight and score a BCS bowl birth?
What am I missing? I truly do not understand.

With identical records (assuming both win out)
LSU's resume is better and we have a better National Rep than A&M, as well.

You might "deserve" it on the field, but that isn't the debate, or the only thing taken in to account. You don't deserve it because A&M would travel just as well, and tv ratings are going to be higher for Johnny than they would LSU. Deal. With. It.

ummmm....A&M doesn't get to "decide" to go. They would have to be INVITED. It would not be A&M "throwing weight around". It would be the Fiesta Bowl selection committee making a CHOICE.
Now, I happen to believe it would be LSU. But, it is not crazy to think it could be A&M . And, more importantly, it harms me none at all that the A&M fans have hope.
