A&M used to be the largest proponents of Soviet Block concrete architecture. Jealous of all the kids now get to learn in an environment with some natural light.

Have any of their programs won a national title lately?

Not in the last couple years. Won 4 Natty's in 2011. Won 4 in the couple years after that. Don't believe any since.

Ironically, y'all were closest to a national championship in football in Sumlin's first year. His regime is a dumpster fire.

It was better than Les Miles last four seasons, so at least there is that.

Baylor isn't even close. Your Eas coast friends are a bunch of dumbasses.

Texas??? They finished 5-7 in football. A&M beat the Sips in both basketball and baseball. I'm pretty sure they've beat them in every other sport outside of Volleyball and Men's Swimming & Diving too.

How is this? I have zero understanding on how track championships are won or scholarships for that matter.

Idk about scollies, but you get points for each event. Highest point total wins. A&M won men in 09, 10, 11, & 13. Women in 09, 10, 11, 14.

nice. y'all were some lucky sobs that Henry was available. the sec network is resulting in facility upgrades everywhere. y'alls are as good as any other and it's nice you are proud of them.

facilities are not what's holding you're football team back.

Still waiting on this to translate into athletic success.

Our overall AD does well. Maybe you missed our Big 2 SEC championship last year.

People get too hung up on football in the SEC.

I am not wrong. People in this forum equate football success to overall athletic department success even though it is only one sport.

It's an important sport mind you, and it pays the bill, but Bama doesn't have the best AD automatically just because they win a football national title almost every year. The "athletic department" means all sports.

If you are implying I don't think Bama can be the best AD because of football success you are wrong. They were the best AD in the SEC this year according to the Capital One Cup:

But it was more than just football.

To be fair, only one SEC school has won an NCAA championship so far this shool year.
