A&M "held" Bama to their lowest yards per carry of the year. Almost 40 percent below their average ypr. Also their lowest point total.

A&M is still #14 in defensive efficiency after playing the 2nd hardest schedule to date nationally.

"Aggy d sux" is only a thing on the rant. They're good.

Yeah Kiffin really called an awful game. Aggie can thank him for going full retard in the red zone. They could not stop the run yet he was going full Texas Tech when it mattered.

I'm dubbing it the red zone shakes. The guy just can't help himself. He has no self control.

Their defense is good, but not complete. They are elite in stopping the pass mainly due to the pass rush no doubt, but they are vulnerable to the run. I'm pleased with the overall performance, but wish we had pounded the ball inside the 10 more

Aggy D doesn't really suck but they aren't good either. I know they seem good to Aggy fans that are accustomed to really bad defenses but anybody that has watched you guys play realize you are average at best on that side of the ball.

That's weird, the stats say they're 4 national spots behind LSU while playing a harder schedule. But if you "see" stuff then cool.

The stats say they are 96th in total D so there's that.

Edit- LSU is 15th I believe so that's really 81 spots kind sir.

Total yards = 1925 stat. Look at defensive efficiency which I linked. Total yards is meaningless when you have different styles of football across the country which results in a 60% variance in possessions.

How about scoring defense where A&M is like 20 spots behind LSU. Total yards is still a good measure especially in the SEC where teams don't usually throw it 60 times a game. You've given up more points to every P5 team you played minus USCe than LSU gives up on average. Aggy D is 46th in 3rd down D (good to see 3rd and Chavis still alive). Your D isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. They have been good in the redzone. I will give you that but as a whole they are very very very average.

No on the whole they're #14. LSU is #10. Points, like yards, are adjusted for competition and game speed.

I certainly don't need anything dumbed down for me big boy. Generally when people are outclassed they start trying to downgrade their opposition. Congrats on the moral victory and I'll be waiting for that yearly whipping we put on Aggy.

So the only defensive stat that matters is the one that paints Aggy D is a positive light. Awesome. Facts be damned if they don't praise the feared Aggy D!!!!

A&M's defense was better than any defense we've faced. That might be like saying "she is the prettiest troll in the bunch," though.

Kiffin stunk it up in the red-zone with his passing

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kiffin hasn't thrown a pass this season has he?

Also this "efficiency" stat you keep hammering on has Virginia Tech at #7. A team that gave up 45 to Tenn and 31 to Syracuse so according to your most important stat VT's D is better than LSU and Auburn's D.
