They’ve had potential every season they have had a program and yet they are always trash.

We have potential. It all hinges on the QB. Mond seems incapable of hitting open receivers down field. And the bigger the game, the bigger the misses seem. Mond missed wide open TD’s against Clemson, Georgia and Auburn. That could have been game changers.Through much of the season the offense seemed sluggish, slow to start...3 first half points against Georgia...same with Auburn. Both those games should have been Aggie wins. We lost our starting running back and tight end to start the season. The only games we were really out of were Bama and LSU. We played 9 freshmen last year as starters. We have two great recruiting classes..giving us a host of impact freshmen along with a seasoned veteran team. So yeah, the potential is there, this is the year we find out how good our coaching staff is. So while Jimbo isn’t on the hot seat, the pressure is definitely on. The fan base is expecting better this year.

I give Arky a lot of shite but I expect the pigs to be much improved this year. I think they will get back to their smash mouth roots and win some games they have no business winning. What aTm hasn’t had in the recent past is the ability to win a brutal game in the trenches. That will be where Arky will be much improved, the trenches. I’m looking forward to seeing that game. It will tell a lot about both Arky and aTm. Can Arky break aTm? Can aTm handle a mean and revitalized Arky ? That will be a fun one to watch.

A&M hasn’t been able to win in the trenches since that great online Manziel had. However, 2020 should see a much improved line. Jimbo has some great recruits come in to shore up the need. The 2019 roster has lots of young offense lineman, with size and athleticism.

We will see. I’m no Arky fan but I believe Pittman will stress hard arse line play and if he has the talent, and that’s a BIG IF, Arky will be tough to play. They will be hard to run on and will pound the ball. Arky always plays aTm hard and that game is one I will watch next season for sure. Does aTm have the beasts to handle a revitalized Arky and does Arky have the talent to compete.
