Fun Fact for Draft week:
Assuming Johnny Manziel, Jake Matthews or Mike Evans are selected in the top 10, it will be the fourth straight year Texas A&M has a top-10 pick. This would be just the fifth such streak in the common draft era: Alabama 2009-13, Miami (FL) 2002-05, Ohio State 1994-97 and USC 1993-97.
Top10U?
also,
Ryan Tannehill was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, and fellow Aggie Johnny Manziel is a potential top-10 pick in this year's draft. If Manziel goes in the top 10, Texas A&M would be the first school since the 1990-92 Houston Cougars with two quarterbacks drafted in the top 10 in a three-year span (Andre Ward was taken seventh by the Lions in 1990 and Dave Klingler went sixth to the Bengals in 1992.
QBU?

Cool.

I dont think any defense players other than Clowney and Mack go in the top 10. And i think Dennard from MichSt goes before Haha

Three tackles...two QBS...that leave three more.

Sammy Watkins + Evans, so just one more.

3 WRs. Watkins, Evans, and maybe Odell Beckham. Detroit wants a WR at 10 and if Watkins and Evans are gone hes probably the best fit there.
I dont see them taking a safety at 10 thats for sure.
So if all goes like I think it will 60% of the top 10 picks are SEC (3 from A&M (Matthews, Evans, Manziel) 1 from USCe (Clowney), 1 from AU (Robinson)and 1 from LSU (OBJ)

McCarron is going to have a tough time living up to the hype that resulted from the careers of McElroy JPW and that other dude who looked like Adrien Brody and played for KC

Our WR corps will most likely be better even without Evans.
The OL next year will probably be equivalent or possibly better than this past year. Return 4 multi-year starters(two have started since RS-Freshman and are now seniors)
QB - obvious dropoff in a lot of ways however Sumlin has a proven track record of developing QBs and we have talent on campus. It's possible we could have similar points per game even without Manziel.
The main reason we could be better however is that we are getting real talent on defense, we lost 2 games where we scored over 40 points last season (and was too close for comfort on games where we cscored 50+). It's entirely possible that our defense could improve as much as our offense regresses.
