Would someone link the Houston article saying it has been moved to home & home?

Aggies, what is there to do in College Station? Would we be better off staying in Houston?

It's a college football weekend. We have restaurants and bars. What else do you want?

I mean we have a museum, movie theater, bowling alley, ice skating rink and plenty of other shite. But when I'm in town for football I go out to eat and then hit the bars

Northgate is our strip of bars and has about 25 bars. The iconic Texas Hall of Fame just shut down per the owners dying wishing. That place will be missed

I'm actually a Northgate fan. There are a few graphic tee bars but every college has a few of those.

The only shitty part about Northgate leaving. Unless you have a ride, you're either going to have to get a cab waiting at that gas station or wait an hour or so for yalls version of safe ride.

Also, La Bodega is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. Crawfish tacos FTMFW.

Football, tailgating, bars are all that most fans do on a football weekend. If you want to see some other stuff, see the Bush library and perhaps the Corps museum (not a CT myself, but the history in their should interest anyone). A&M has an athletics museum at Kyle.

As far as accomodations go, there are a lot of hotels in BCS now, but almost all require a 2 night minimum at double their normal rate. Probably not an issue for someone coming in from out of town (we bitch about it because we don't need to spend two nights most of the time, but coming from a greater distance, I would imagine most visiting fans would).

If you're flying, it sort of depends on which airline you are flying and how much you want to pay. You can fly puddle hoppers to Easterwood Airport (CLL) from DFW and IAH. Probably worth it if you are connecting through DFW, but not worth it, IMO, if you are connecting through IAH (just get a rental car and make the 90 minute drive from there). Soutwest flies into Hobby (HOU) rather than IAH, which is on the other side of downtown Houston, so if you fly into Hobby, you've got a longer, more difficult drive than from IAH (no flight from Hobby to Easterwood).
