Jimbo Fisher is 3-8 vs Top 10 teams and 0-7 vs ranked teams on the road since being named head coach of Aggy.

What’s Brian Kelly’s record vs top 10 teams?

How many downs did he coach at Notre Dame, at top 5 program all time with top 5 NFL talent? What did he accomplish there? Jack shite.
I realize Aggies put a lot of stock into Jimbo's accomplishments at Florida State but I frankly don't care what Brian Kelly did at Notre Dame, he's at LSU now.
LSU's last three head coaches have won national championships, Notre Dame hasn't had a single coach win a "major bowl game" in nearly 30 years.
Brian Kelly is on track to land the best recruiting class he's ever had anywhere in his first season at LSU.

We will see what Kelly can do at LSU, but until he wins something of significance, or beats a team with a pulse, LSU fans should probably stop acting like he’s some exceptional coach compared to Jimbo.
Well now you're building a strawman.
Although I would say that Kelly is probably a better "coach" than Fisher if we're just talking player development.

No matter how many times we tell Daniel this, he’s going to just continue repeating himself.
He’d rather predict Brian Kelly’s future at LSU than accept the reality of Jumbo Fisher’s results at A&M.
Over and over again.

Hey now - not like Notre Dame has the resources or tradition of a school like LSU.

In what condition did Jimbo leave FSU?
In what condition did Brian leave ND?
It ain’t even close. Don’t even attempt.

There was a point in time where Miami had 3/4 of their last head coaches win national championships. That streak of luck will not continue forever, and everyone knows it except for LSU fans. The fact remains that LSU has been playing 2nd fiddle in the SEC West since Saban got Alabama up and running, except for 1 year.

LSU fans want to say what coaches did at their previous schools doesn’t matter, until it’s beneficial for them. Make up your mind.
FSU clearly has/had issues beyond fisher. He’s been gone for 4 years now. If it was just the head coach, they would have rebounded by now and be at least somewhat competitive.

If Aggy predictions ever came true, they’d have more than one 10-win season since the epic collapse of 1999.
Yet they STILL continue to predict the future.
I guess that keeps their mind off the past.

Fisher has won a NY6 Bowl at Texas A&M in his 3rd year, more than anything Brian Kelly has won at Notre Dame in 10 years.

None of this answers my very simple questions.
Wanna take a moment, gather your two thoughts, and try again?

Fisher took a step down in talent when he went to A&M, he's just now getting Aggie to the level of talent Florida State had when he left.
2021 LSU will be the most talent Kelly has ever coached, on paper, and that's with all of the roster issues.

Kelly beat that same team by two touchdowns when they actually had all of their starters.

This doesn't apply to Kelly?
It isn't like they were winning major bowl games before him, his replacement choked one away after he left.
Maybe it's Notre Dame.

It will also be the toughest schedule he’s ever coached against. He can no longer rely on beating the service academies, Boston College, a horrible USC, and a hit or miss Stanford for wins. If you look at his schedules he’s always had more talent than any team on his schedule. When he hasn’t, he loses.

I understand the goals at LSU as well as Texas A&M. I am just pointing out that all of a sudden Brian Kelly is god to LSU fans while he’s accomplished nothing on paper in his career except beat teams with inferior talent. Any time he’s faced a challenging opponent he’s shite the bed.
