So... I was listening to the Zone out of Austin this morning on the way to a meeting. Sean Adams & Chip Brown had Bob Przyblo on the show to discuss the whorns and sooners RR showdown on Saturday.

Przyblo said that as the host team this year the Sooners get to invite recruits. He said that this year many of the recruits did not accept invitations because they wanted to go to the A&M - Tenn game on Saturday. Keep in mind this was the best of the best recruits that sooners are courting. This has not gone unnoticed and has rattled both whorns and sooners coaches.

Evidently the first time that large numbers of recruits have turned down invitations from either whorns or sooners in Dallas for the RR shootout.

Ahhhh..... the drawing power of the SEC.

UT and A&M don't usually fight over the same players, but it's a big game for them in terms of trying to get recruits from other SEC West and Big 12 schools.

The bigger question is, how is Butch going to do with a whole new freshman class, it took him 4 years to finally rebuild a team

That's okay with me. I wasn't trying to start anything with anyone at all. Just thought it was an interesting take out of an Austin sports station. More about the SEC than A&M.

They scared.

That'll change next year when Herman is HC at Texas.

RRS is easily the most overrated rivalry in CFB. It has basically no national relevance, and hasn't in nearly a decade.

Local recruits are finally catching on.

NBD.

Aggies just happen to have a home game against a top 10 team the week of the RRS.

SEC is acknowledged as the best conference in Texas.

Marginalizing the frick out of those assholes is the gift that keeps on giving, in spades.

Why would we EVER give them a lifeline? They did this exact shite to us for decades.
