seem to know a lot of the players on our roster, you just sound like you have never seen them play....

LSU will be better than USC, UF, and UGA. Offense will be light years better. Will be very difficult to stop if CC proves to be a good play caller. Our secondary won't lose a beat with 2 starters coming back, Martin who played a ton and was really good in coverage, only difference might be the second corner. I'm hoping Tre'davious White starts as a Fresh. Linebackers will be just as good without minter. Only real question is the Dline but we never seemed to pressure the QB last year anyway so if they stop the run we should be just as good.

OP ranking seems fine given teh schedules... which isn't a real reflection of how good the teams are likely to be but a pretty good guess on how they will end up being ranked

I've seen pretty much every LSU game for the last 5 years.

Seems like you're the one that wasn't watching. Who is going to stop the run to replace Logan?

We lost Akeem Auguste, Devonte Holloman, Shaq Wilson, Reginald Bowens, D.J Swearinger, Byron Jerrideau, Demarrio Jeffrey and Devin Taylor.

Akeem Auguste- Stayed injured mostly his entire time at USC not a huge loss for us.

Devonte Holloman- Was a major factor at LB and FS

Shaq Wilson- Was the leader of the defense his experience will be missed key player at LB

Reginald Bowens- Stayed injured or didn't play he made some plays this yr but it was by far his best
not a major factor on D or at LB for us.

D.J Swearinger- Going to be a hard man to replace at SS just from what he brought to the position big time player for us on D

Byron Jerrideau- was a factor a DT but don't worry we have another lineman just like him

Demarrio Jeffrey- Tore his knee up and was never the same after that. Made some plays but never was able to do what he could have at the next level.
Not a big time player for us on D

Devin Taylor- Was a force opposite Clowney but his backup Chaz Sutton is going to be just as good possibly better. Major Factor on D

We got Some holes to fill but the players we got at most notably LB have the potential to be much more explosive than the outgoing guys.

So from a defensive standpoint I don't think we're quite as bad off as people think or want to believe. The good thing is most of the guys behind Swearinger, Holloman, Taylor, and Jerrideau played last season. So we're not quite as unproven as some people think.

So true. Sure he was a three year starter but his backup is much better and will step in without missing a beat this year.

We will be better than people think. The argument is always, "you lost so many starters". In reality we return 13 starters total, which ties Bama and Georgia and is more than South Carolina, Florida, and A&M.

On top of that, we tied for first in the country for most freshman played and Mett has a year of SEC experience under his belt. We'll be aight

Can't wait to play UGA. Should be a great game. Both lost a lot on defense and return almost everyone on offense.

UGA seems waaaaay overconfident though.

So true. You know Mett REALLY wants that win in Athens too.

Not sure if directed at me but

RS FR Kaiwan Lewis, RS FR Cedric Cooper, or Jordan Diggs will possibly replace Holloman, Wilson, and Bowens. Of the Three only Diggs played some last season

Brison Williams or T.J Gurley will replace Swearinger. I believe Williams played mostly the entire season and Gurley was making huge progress before getting injured during the season.

I think Ahmad Christian or Rico McCwilliams will replace Akeem Auguste or whoever came off the bench after him when he got injured which was the case most of the time.

I think Phillip Dukes could replace Jerrideau if he gets his head on straight and Sutton Played all of the games behind Taylor if I'm not mistaken so he will replace him.

No doubt but at the same time aight will be a step or two down from where y'all have been. I think that's all anyone is saying. LSU obviously won't be terrible.
