I guess it's different in MS. Nearly all upper middle-middle class kids go to Catholic schools in LA.

There's no way I would send my daughter(if I had one) to the public school that I attended for a while. Fifth graders shouldn't have to see the shite that I saw. But it was just normal.

Catholic schools are frat. There just isn't a good one in MS that has any legitimate sports program

My kids will go to a private school unless the local public school is much better. Which most likely will not be the case... only downfall for private school in Ms is if you are a good athlete you will get overlooked by major colleges. I know this from experience, it was one of the factors that kept me from getting a SEC scholarship out of high school.
