the appearance itself wasn't meaningless, considering if they had won they would have made the playoffs.

Alabama and Kentucky are really the only teams that can laugh based on the premise of the thread.
Basically saying any game that's not the National Championship game doesn't matter. The only teams to win a National Championship since Auburn's last Championship is Alabama (football) and Kentucky (Basketball)

What's funny is that a USCe fan thinks his team has somehow mustered enough credibility to poke jabs at Auburn.
This decade, Auburn has won 1 National Championship, played for a 2nd national championship, 2 SEC Championships, and has won its division 3 times.
USCe has what? Hired Muschamp? Won it's division once?
Yeah you guys have sure earned talking shite. Keep it up. Maybe you guys will beat Kentucky this weekend and can fight for 2nd place in the East. And yeah before you say it, Auburn most likely won't do squat this season, our OL is putrid, but that doesn't change the fact USCe can't hold Auburns jock strap over the last decade. Er... since you joined the SEC in the early 90s...
