I respect Pat Summit, and hate the situation she's in, but I

Normally that might be funny but a friends mom just passed after a decade long battle with that crappy disease and it is not funny when you see it in the people you love.

I just hope the AD will pay her to stay.
I was in their new facilities and they were nice but Vols have the history. It may be more than just the money. Pat is out and Geno is getting older so it will be a younger face at some point at both schools.

Came in here to see pictures; I get 3 pages of women's sport talk. Nice.

Cool, I will post a thread on the help board if you will drum up the Bama support.

That is true. Not much can be done, however. I think it would make a great hockey rink
I don't think it's big enough for a hockey rink without another big renovation.

Alabama is absolutely abysmal at Women's Bball for no real reason at all
They used to be good but both Bama and Auburn have fallen. TAMU has the lead in the west right now with LSU rising again. The MS schools have made good new hires getting TAMU's assistant and UK's assistant. Hogs have UL's old coach so the AL schools may not be abysmal as much as the west is tougher than most of the country and therefore harder to succeed in.

Alex box is the best baseball facility in the conference/country. I'll take it.
Screw football.

Seems like the bigger issue would be if the structure could support ice and if it causes other issues. Kentucky put ice under the Rupp floor and it caused enough problems that Rick fought YUM putting ice under that arena when it was built.

I like Alex Box partly because I have been blessed with good seats for games there but mainly because they were smart enough to extend that roof as far as they did.

AU stepped up their game in the kitty litter box arena. I hope the boys in O&B stock up on the Goldbond. Sand in your jock is no joke.

I did not see said post. No hostility meant, just inquiring.

Commonwealth and Rupp will be getting massive upgrades, and I believe there are plans for a new baseball stadium as well, but here are a few of our facilities right now...
Commonwealth Stadium:
Nutter Field House:
The Cliff:
Memorial Coliseum:
John Cropp Stadium:
Lancaster Aquatic Center:
Rupp Arena:
Joe Craft Center:

I can't wait until they start the upgrades. $110 million is being invested into it.

What's with all the cathode ray tube television sets in the Mal Moore center photo gallery? I would think we could fork over the extra cash to not have tv's straight from the 90's
