In defense of both teams, he was fricking amazing. I've never seen a punter be that consistent, ever.

Well, to be fair, Texas needs a great punter

Texas lost almost every statistical category and still won the game. It only makes sense to give MVP to the punter.

I think UF's punter was the best in the country this year, JMO. Bama's punter #2. But neither had a single game like the Texas punter did tonight.

he declared early for the draft is the bigger story.

We been so bad that nobody really saw Dickson the last few years.

It’s crazy, he punts like he’s hitting 8i & SW into greens & then he’ll drill it 60+ when we need it.

Some pro team with a great defense could pick up three unique wins a year with this guy.

Is this the punter who is going pro after his junior season?

You’re telling me you think a punter is worth 3 extra wins a year?

He singlehandedly won them the game. They had less yards, probably around the same first downs but Missouri was literally in their own 5 yard line like four times? Maybe more? Put someone back there that many times and you have some great chances to score.

He's gonna make a lot of money, and yes, he'll win some games on field position alone.

We’re talking NFL. There are only 32 punters. Obviously some are better than others but to think he’s going to be so much better it’ll be worth 3 wins a year is insane

The difference in punters was the difference in the game, imo.

Texas jumped out to the 14-0 lead because Mizzou's punter couldn't push the Horns out past mid-field for the entire 1st quarter. Missouri kept starting at their own 10, and Texas kept starting at the 50. That changes gameplans dramatically

That's what happens when you win the turnover battle and score pretty much 16 points off of defense
