No, but his performance tonight mirrors Julio from 2008. I realize that the real test will come in the coming weeks against Penn State and other SEC teams
nobody doesnt think hes good, AJ Green is just undoubtedly better and they play in the same conference. Its not a knock on Julio, hes a big physical tall receiver who has just underachieved based on the massive hype thats been shoved down everyones throat (in general not just Bama fans)

Then why even mention him in a thread about Julio? AJ is the top receiver in the SEC. I won't argue that.
i mention AJ in threads about anything. it's too much but i can't help it.

His TD catch was very impressive and he was running really hard after every catch and his jet sweep. I look for him to play much closer to his potential this year.

Like I've been saying all year, Julio is going to serve the haters a big helping of crow.

A one handed catch to all of those who called him overrated in the offseason. :
With only one defender around him who appears to just be watching the play?

Is it just me or is this not a burn at all? Usually someone says it will freeze over when referring to something that is not expected to happen, right? Fail!

I've never said this.

I will give you this Bench. I like GMac and I think he is the man to lead us this year but AJ may end up being one of the best QBs that has ever played at Alabama and from a talent standpoint he is a better QB than GMac overall.
