Last year....mostly freshmen and sophomores. UGA is still young. Give it some time. Next year UGA and Bama will be closer than ever and miles above the other 128 schools talent wise. BAMA today has a talent gap.

I wish this were the case. My kids play football in a league in Atlanta and it is damn near impossible to fill out the rosters these days. Our participation is down 70% from 10 years ago. Juxtapose that with the fact that you can't swing a dead cat and not hit a soccer league. There are hundreds of youth soccer teams here. I think football is in rapid decline unfortunately.

Any poosies out there who do not wish to exist in the current system anymore are free to leave. A culling might not be the worst thing to happen to cfb. Distill this thing down to about 40-50 teams, and let the rest focus on basketball and women’s rights.

I’m telling you right now if the cfp was Michigan vs Ohio state eight years in a row no one in the south would care about the college football playoff after awhile

It is up to FSU to stop Clemson. No ones fault but those in Tallahasse for deciding not to maintain their place in the ACC.

I agree. College football has become a regional game. I used to like watching west coast football, but it is not worth watching anymore. The stadiums are all half empty outside a few venues. The midwest is still game, at least the fans are, but their athletes all want to play in better weather with more on the line.
It's not ncaa hockey regional, but we are not far off. Hell, UCF would have won the pac12... sad.
