Tonight’s esteemed nit opponent
For those of you in tennessee, mississippi, and kentucky that may not be able to read, i’ll summarize:
Enrollment of about 5000 with approx 600 grad students.
Located on a golf course bought for 1 dollar, if they could take avery johnson off our hands, i’d be willing to reimburse them that dollar.
Beat 2 seed missouri as a 15 seed several years back
Have several prominent alumni including a state senator from louisiana
School motto is “ frick auburn”
Has the only degree program in optical engineering in virginia.

Their marching band, the “Spartan Legion” is freaking amazing. They’re one of the most unique HBCU bands.

They do a pass & review while playing an original tune & they wear a Spartan type helmet instead of the traditional marching band hats
