Hey it's an honest question. Don't act like 30+ full-retard threads haven't been started in the past 2 days. I want to know if, in the unlikely event that Saban pushes Gus's poop in, they'll eat crow or act like they never really cared and that a capital one bowl is all they wanted and that they trolled us real good.
It's a direct violation of chicken's latest some of you need to improve your thread titles mandate. Chicken doesn't just dream this stuff up in his head you know ... he's merely relaying the collective will of the board. I can only imagine that you've been RA'd a few dozen times by now. You're making other Bama fans look bad ... making y'all look like mizzerites. Don't go down there with the pond scum and floor slime.

That will certainly endear the masses to his wishes.

You are the definition of a fun-sucker.

In your mind you don't have anything to worry about, so why you worried?

I get the sentiment of feeling like you are playing with "house money" although with the SEC Championship game on the line, I don't agree with the sentiment at all.
Still, to not "give a frick" / not care if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl (or any game) seems bizarre - in any season.

He means that he wants Auburn to win but his outlook of the season will not diminish if we lose. It would get better if we win though

This...as far as I am concered the season is over and we did great. Anything more to come that ispositive is just the cherry on top.

My question is....IF the unthinkable happens and Auburn actually wins the IB, what level of meltdown will you gumps be in? (you know, because bama can't possibly lose a football game)

I don't agree with this, but I will say that if we play well in the Iron Bowl and lose, I'm not going to be too upset about it for long. I'd love an SEC title and a chance at another natty, but AU also needs the consistency of 10+ win seasons, perhaps more urgently. AU needs to get past the 8-5, 9-4, 13-0, 7-6 type of cycles and stay close to the top to ensure we're well positioned when we put the pieces together.
Seasons like this are helpful in that regard.

Seeing as this whole year I have been 90% sure we would lose to Bama, I have prepared myself for that possibly/probably happening.
I had not (nor had most of the fanbase) prepared myself for a 10 win season which is why some are taking extreme happiness and thinking it is bravado and pompousness. Yes some Aubies need to flame those that flamed us last year, but we are all grateful to be a phoenix from the ashes.
