LSU 31 penalties
UF 25 penalties

If LSU can avoid the TO's and minimize the penalties......they win

They haven't done either so far.

Maybe a low scoring affair....but some big plays on defense/special teams will make it about 27-16 UF with my orange and blue tinted glasses on. If no big plays 17 points could win the game. Hard hitting is going to heard in Ocala.

not gonna happen...there is a reason that lsu is still the favorite on the road even after the performance against townson. If you are serious here, you are going to be disappointed severely.

Nice work. This will be a very good game. I would like to see a break down of what both teams have done in the first half. I feel like it is very important for us to jump on them early and often. If not, it will be Auburn all over again, but a better team this time. UF has the ability to run the ball and pass. Controlling the clock will be huge. If we can jump out to 14-0 lead it will be smooth sailing. If its 14-10 at half (either way) its gonna be a long night.

Florida's defensive stats against Bowling Green are equally unimpressive (79 plays for 327 yards) I wouldn't read too much into the stats against the cupcakes.

The stats are very misleading also because Driskel was starting his very first game. If you will recall...he and Brissett were locked in qb battle from spring through fall. Its even more impressive how we went to College Station with College Gameday, a huge inordinate amount of attention paid the media and the hoopla about A&Ms first ever SEC game and Driskel was starting second game ever. Manziel was r/s frosh and if we played them now in the second game with his experience...we lose that game. Ditto UT where Gameday was waiting for us and UT had the hoopla going on "finally" back and feeling all good about themselves.

We went into two hostile stadiums and took the W.
Boom has been working on toughness since he arrived and thats why we only had around 65-66 scholly players last year...they either got right or shipped out....no more whining, no more finesse crap. We aint 2011. We now have depth on defense and we roll them in waves.

Are you really saying that an average pac-12 Washington team is better than a Tennessee or Texas A&M?
We all know the only reason they let teams in the Pac-12 be ranked outside of Oregon is cause the media loves that conference.

Not trying to take away from LSU wins. I think LSU is going to win, but just because Washington is ranked, does not mean they are better opponents than good SEC teams.

UT has had it's fair share of problems with Pac 10 teams the past few years.

UW will tell us a lil more this weekend with Oregon.......I hope they make it a game.

Washington will not be ranked by Sunday after Oregon buries their dick in them.

However, this nonsense about LSU not playing anyone is easily answered by Washington... who has already knocked off a legit top ten team.

This game is gonna come down to whichever teams qb can make the most plays. Both teams are great against the run with LSU being a bit stronger against the run.

LSU HAS to avoid the turnover bug, it's what killed us in the 06 Florida Game in the swamp. In that game we had 5 turnovers including a Jamarcus Russell fumble on the half yard line and a (pre-lasik) Dwayne Bowe letting passes bounce off his shoulder pads streight up in the air. One of the most frustrating LSU games in the past decade because the whole game felt like we had the more talented team and turnovers absolutely buried us. Doesn't matter if we are more talented or have more depth if we can't hold onto the ball and throw interceptions we will lose.

I respectfully disagree, Auburn was LSU's first test.

And yeah I know Auburn lost to Clemson, Miss St, and nearly a very good ULM team... However, I still put them on the same level as A&M as far as a quality opponent goes.

May improve against LSU's line.

Yeah..the same goes here as well.

Whichever QB is upright at the end of the night gets the W.
