Bama fans keep pointing to 2017 as reason that they'll get in. You got lucky that there was a 2-loss Big 10 champ, a 2-loss SEC West champ, and a 2-loss Pac 12 champ. It was the perfect combination to let a one loss Alabama in. If that happens again then maybe you'll get a shot. But if you are sitting at home while a 1 loss Oklahoma and a 1 loss Oregon wins conference championships, that won't look good in the eyes of the committee.

According to you. Nearly every expert today has us still at 4. Keep on keeping on though. Maybe one day you’ll be on tv too.

And many of those experts (many of whom have also placed Bama lower than 4, it is not a consensus) have said that they have Bama 4 now but they would be replaced by a 1 loss conference champ.

I watched the Minnesota vs Penn State game and I would give serious consideration to Minnesota in a minny vs bama match up.
Minnesota has a great offensive scheme and marched up and down the field on a better defense than Bama’s.
It would be a shootout for sure.
The only reason they are ranked behind bama is recruiting rankings. Those recruiting rankings didn’t stop three star and below joe burrow ceh Justin Jefferson Lloyd cusshenberry and Clyde Edwards-Helaire from taking it to y’alls defense

Won’t happen. We’ve all been here before and we know how it plays out. Y’all didn’t cross the 50 last time. I would venture to say you all will do slightly better this time though.

Actually I do. Everyone in the country knows if you played it on the field Alabama beats those teams. Auburn beat Oregon with a true freshman qb in his first start for Christ sakes.
