We had a few pointy head bigshots over the years interested in the Big 10. And we wasn't spurned, was offered junior membership and turned it down. Nebraska jumped all over it, knucklehead.

For once in your life, don't let your texas arrogance blind you. It's well known about the junior membership offer we had and refused. Nebraska couldn't wait to get away from you and jumped all over it. We are much better where we are now in the SEC and away from the conference killer.

Dude, that's the reporter's opinion, you know very little about how all this came about. You also suck at reading between the lines that Mizzou turned down what the Big 10 offered. Nebraska was cool with it though and jumped all over it. I'm glad it went down the way it did because I much prefer the SEC.

That is pure spin, because the only sources that refer to turning down a junior membership are affiliated with Missouri.
