College Football 82 years ago was so drastically different that it is was pretty much a different sport. The game, the stakes, the players, the coverage. It bears no semblance to the game played today. For all intents and purposes A&M has NEVER won a National Championship….

In that era College teams would invite institutions teach them the game and the rules. Later they would play a game and that was counted as a victory. That's how your "National Championships" were "earned".
