Since they played fewer games back then...how about an 8 year period? For Tennessee 1938-1946 (no season in '43). UT was 72-9-2. That's a winning percentage of 87.95%. ETA...accidentally added 2 extra ties by mistake...so I've updated the numbers. If you are stuck on 7 years...dropping 1946 takes the total to 63-7-2 or 88.89%.

Woah. The General was putting in work. I know the CFB world flipped between 1 and 2 platoon football around WW2 then back to 1 platoon for a while. Do you know if this was after the switch? Incredible record.

I'm nearly positive that they were 2 platoon throughout...I do know that Neyland was only HC in '38-'40 (31-2 during that period) and '46 (9-2). John Barnhill was HC during the other seasons while Neyland was called back to Military Service in 1941 and was in the Army until after the war ended in '45.

Arkansas 1964-1970 57-8 87.69% wow that was easy

You appear to have gone 61-13-1 during that time, 82%, so not so easy…

1964 11-0
1965 10-1
1966 8-2
1967 4-5-1
1968 10-1
1969 9-2
1970 9-2

That is the craziest streak, ever....but to be fair, the OP did specify he was calling out SEC teams.
