Iowa’s punter is very deserving of this honor.

Nobody even threw the ball at Kool Aid, but Arnold should’ve been the first name on the list on defense. He was probably the best defender in the league this year. Kid made 61 tackles from corner and had 5 picks and 11 PBUs

But, to reiterate what an idiot you are, he racked up those stats because nobody was throwing at Kool Aid. There’s a reason they’ll both be first round picks in April

Opposing teams were afraid to throw at Kool-Aid more than any Alabama DB that I can remember. It was actually really impressive.

His real name isn't Kool-Aid.

How many times did Kool-Aid have balls thrown his way all year? You can probably count that number on your two hands.

He is elite.

Ga'Quincy "Kool-Aid" McKinstry was nicknamed "Kool-Aid" by his grandmother as a baby because his smile reminded her of the Kool-Aid Man. He signed a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal with Kool-Aid as a freshman at Alabama

Quinn Ewers threw a 7 yard slant to Adonai Mitchell for a TD against Kool Aid.

No Shame in that. Nothing he could have done.

Only TD he gave up all season. He only allowed 17 receptions.

Crazy that the Heisman winner was not a consensus All-American.

These things have always been somewhat popularity based, especially when players were close stats wise. The CO deal just exposes how critical the popularity component is.
