In case you missed it, baylor, a middle of the pack team in the lesser 12 went in dry on one of your middle of the pack teams. I mean they absolutely split them open worse than any sec team had done all year.

So much wrong here, but I'll settle for 2 points.

1: Baylor did not "go in dry", they had a touchdown in the last 3 minutes to get ahead by a touchdown in a tie game.

2: Vanderbilt is not middle of the pack, they finished 11th in the conference.

So congratulations on beating a team that finished 4 spots lower in conference than you did at the 11th hour. It truly shows the superiority of the B12.

Bro, stop pounding your chest. You are a weak team in a weak conference. Congrats on the win.

How does a conference member not play other conference members in YEARS?

Because there are 14 teams in the conference and only 12 regular season games. You see...if you have more teams than games, then you can't play every team every year. That's how math works.

owa State at 8-4 is the only ranked team under 9 wins for Big 12. I DGAF where they are ranked; just that any SEC team not named Georgia or Alabama are artificially ranked higher due to “the model” of a defeatist 8 conference game schedule....

ISU squeaks out a win the last game of the season at home against Drake...they are still ranked, and you are complaining about artificially high rankings? WOW...

They still wouldn't play every year...Hell...if they played 12 conference games, they still wouldn't play each other every year. Yes...math does help. You should check it out.

So quality losses are what SEC teams hangs it hat on. This is why you get bombarded by other teams when the SEC loses....

8 conference games is a way to artificially inflate teams rankings in the Top 25 to make the conference look stronger.

The conference can not be taken seriously when certain teams don’t face off for spans of over 5 years

Vandy is middle of the pack? Holy crap y’all are delusional. Vandy is bottom 3rd of the sec. it’s not even debatable. Don’t give me this 6-6 crap. That’s pathetic.

I’m not ignoring it.... scheduling a FCS team rather than a conference game nullifies a guaranteed loss of 7 additional games.... HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THIS

We totally understand it's you who doesn't understand that that's the way we like it! We would just rather play a good out of conference game or two and have more teams in bowl games!

If teams actually wanted to be in the Big 12 y’all might could schedule like the SEC does.

More teams in bowl games... now you are coming along.... it’s also a way to inflate garbage teams into the Top 25.

No one has refuted anything; an infograph of SOS is completely worthless when the opponent of your opponent are all doing the same sht you are....

8 SEC games is more difficult than 9 Big 12 games. It’s not even worth discussing.

So...why stop at 9? Why not demand the SEC play 10 conference games each year...why not 11 or 12? What makes 9 magical? 8 games seemed fine for the Big 12 when they actually had 12 teams up until 2011.

Oh...that's right...the Big 12 decided to drop their Championship game after the 2010 season when they dropped down to 10 teams. They lost their Championship game (at that time the rule was, you had to have at least 12 teams to have a championship game). The Big-12 needed an extra game to boost the SOS of their top teams and give them a better shot at the BCS title game. Had the Big 12 not been gutted by defections, they would have stuck with the 8 game schedule and the traditional Championship Game format.

Since nobody wants to leave the SEC, we'll just keep things as they are. You can go home now.

The Big 12 doesn’t need a conference championship but had to adjust due to fairy dust demands by a committee of old people. The round robin play is a true way to figure out a regular season/conference championship.

I agree the Big 12 should have held their ground and stay to the round robin format.

So your saying your team barely beat a so called Garbage team? Look the SEC is being smart and maybe your conference because it's full of weak teams needs to play 9 conference games. The bottom line is more teams in bowl games means more $ to be shared in our conference. Do you now get it!
