As you've been stating about Lattimore's O-line, while we had talent, our 2010 O-Line played horrible sometimes.

I'm just messing too. If Garcia played half as good as he did that day throughout his whole career he would've be a late round draft pic.

I think Knile Davis has a chance at being drafted in the first round.

With the history of injuries I doubt he cracks the 2nd even.

My.thoughts as well. He is going to have to play flawlessly this year without ever getting up slowly after a play much less without any kind of injury whatsoever in order to get a decent draft pick.

Meh, not really.

Rushing defense average in games played
Arkansas: 41.33
USCe: 39.42

False.

Arkansas: 41.25
South Carolina: 44.15

Want to know another fun fact? Florida was the only team with a rush defense in the top 50 that Lattimore even broke 100 yards rushing on.

Christine Michael is better than Lattimore and Davis.

sadly, we won't see his true potential since Sumlin will air raid it 100% of the plays

Lattimore didn't play against Vandy there buddy (100th in rush defense). Hence why I included "in games played."

And for common opponents...

UGA
Lattimore: 182
Davis: -7

'Bama
Lattimore: 93
Davis: 42

Auburn
Lattimore: 33, 84
Davis: 91

Are you really trying to make this reach? Do you know how many carries Knile had against Georgia? 3. And for Alabama? 6. The only good comparison here is their numbers against equal opponents with similar carries. Knile had 14 carries against Auburn vs 14 and 16 for Lattimore, and we can see who was the most productive back.

If you are going to bring up Lattimore not playing against Vandy, then you also have to consider that Knile didn't even get 10+ carries until the 5th game of the season. Lattimore's Georgia game alone had him carrying the ball more than the first 5 games combined for Knile.

It has already been established that Davis didn't figure out how to wait for gaps to open up until halfway into the season (which makes it even more impressive that he out-rushed Lattimore, who had more carries and played in an equal number of games). We'll just leave it at being "convenient" that all of their common opponents were games early in the season.

2. Marcus Lattimore RB USCe

that's too high a pick to use on a RB. I don't think it will happen.

15. Tyrann Matthieu DB LSU

I could be wrong, but I don't see Tyrann going in the first round.

DE's drafted who will play DE in the NFL around that weight in round 1 just this past year:

Bruce Irvin (West VA. 6'3 245- 2012)

Shea Mcclellin (Boise St. 6'3 260- 2012)

Chandler Jones (Syracuse 6'5 247- 2012)

that was every DE taken to play in a 4-3.

Barret Jones is not strong enough to be a good NFL guard. His best bet is to play center and hope someone values his versatility.

explain to me how his lack of strength will do him any better at OG than C. It would seem to me if his lack of strength is a problem he should play RT.

good point. He will have some tough competition if the Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert comes out.

Mock drafts have Tyler Bray as the #1 pick. Not one NFL GM will take Bray #1 overall.

no they don't. They all have Matt Barkely and Tyler Wilson going 1st.

You should have just admitted you were wrong on average rank, but I see that you didn't even comment on that.

Way to own up to your error.

I wouldn't worry about him. He picks and chooses his way around his argument. Earlier he used "nearly as much" to make up for stats where Davis lacks behind Lattimore.

There is no way Jarvis Jones will run sub 4.6 I don't care with some scout high school profile says from four years ago.

Mingo is a better OLB prospect by far.Jarvis Jones is good, but top 10 pick is not going to happen. His production will be good, but his work outs will drop him like similar to Orson Charles. Work out warriors and combine freaks are drafted high at DE and OLB.

Listen Barret Jones has been All-american 3 years at two different positions and still could not get a 1st Rd grade in a weak OL dfaft.

Warmack will be the first Gaurd taken. He graded out highest on the line last year even though Jones won the Outland. The top Guards have been going early lately. Warmack is that good. I expect Fluker to both be gone before Barret Jones.

Jones just doesn't have the brute size and strength to be an elite gaurd or the athleticism to be an elite tackle. His best hope is to perform well at center and hope that his ability to be servicable at multiple positions attracts someone.

I did say that was 20 pounds lighter. I would guess he will run in the 4.7's.

Other 3-4 OLB's drafted in round 1 after running a 4.7 since the 2011 draft. All times were taken off NFL.com:

Melvin Ingram (2012- 4.79)

Aldon Smith (2011- 4.78)

Ryan Kerrigan (2011- 4.71)

didn't realize we were talking top 10. I still think it's possible though.

what do you mean he couldn't? Didn't realize he put in the papers do get a draft grade.

Jones just doesn't have the brute size

so you don't think he can put on some weight if he is playing on the interior in the next year?

He has submitted papers two years in a row and decided to return both times. He already has like two degrees he keeps returning to improve his stock. This attempt at Center is his final attempt.

I like Jarvis Jones just not as much as some of the early mock drafts. He is like top ten in every single one.

I like Barret Jones also I just think he the 4th best lineman on his team and is overratted by Bama fans also.
