UGA: 40
Tenn: 17

Georgia's defense is better than people are giving them credit for. Clemson, USC, & LSU all have good offenses with good coaches. North Texas only scored 7 on their defense. UGA has already played the 3 best offenses they'll see this year so their defensive stats should look better from here on out.

Quick note on tickets... Georgia has returned tickets to Tennessee. They are not traveling their full allotment. Tennessee has released those tickets for sale. They are in the south end upper deck. For more info you can call the ticket office.

That's from UT Rivals but what do they know

Once again, the UGA ticket office sold out their general public ticket allotment. I know of 2 people personally in our tailgate group who didn't meet the $15,000 donation requirement & whose ticket money was refunded...

If they returned any it had to be a few from the "University official personnel travel party" allotment...

Link me to the Rivals article & or the UT ticket office news release because I can find neither on the web... TIA...

This is actually an interesting little debate between y'all two. This is the first I've heard about us returning any tickets and would personally be shocked if it was the case. In the event that it is true, I would blame UT's decade long swoon for devaluing this game and not making it attractive enough for UGA fans to waste their $$$ on when we already traveled to Clemson and are looking ahead at road trips to Jacksonville (UF), Auburn, Tech, and Vandy.

UT is simply the least attractive road trip this year for a UGA fan.

Menlo, If you read the UGA ticket office release it was self explanatory...

Anyone who's donation level was below 15,000 had their UT ticket money they sent in in March with their Regular season ticket & away game ticket money refunded because there weren't enough tickets for them to receive them.... I know 2 people who got refunds for their UT tix money...

the cut-offs ranged from 10,000 for the WLOCP up to 43,000 for Clemson...

quote:

Away Game Tickets (will be mailed separately from Season Ticket packet)
Clemson: All contributors who ordered with 43,401 points or higher will receive tickets.
Tennessee: All contributors who ordered with 15,000 points or higher will receive tickets.
Vanderbilt: All contributors who ordered with 17,251 points or higher will receive tickets.
Auburn: All contributors who ordered with 20,000 points or higher will receive tickets.
Georgia Tech: All contributors who ordered with 30,000 points or higher will receive tickets.

As I said above...If any were returned it was a few "official" tix the University planned to use & didn't. The general public allotment sold out easily...

UGA- 38
UT- 24

Gurley not playing (I assume) will hurt, plus we'll have some LSU hangover, plus it's on the road, plus richt is good buddies with martinez (and I assume jancek). So I dont' expect a blowout.

We might settle for a few field goals instead of TDs, but our offense and passing game especially is just way too good. UT will be the 2nd worst offense we've played yet, but we'll give up some points.

Nothing from your ticket office?? Just Hubbs say so?

I think I'll go with the Official University of Georgia's press release over a Brent Hubbs post...

We'll just have to agree to disagree...

And the funny part is that the statistics/cut off scores released by the ticket office positively indicate that this away game is the least attractive in the eyes of UGA fans.

He's not just some member, he owns Volquest.com all of his info comes directly from the UTAD. I mean I'm not trying to get into a pissing match about this but if you go look at UTsports.com/tickets, you'll see that GG has plenty of tickets available which just so happens to be one of the UGA sections

And I agree with that. For a UGA fan this season, y'all have at least 3 or 4 more attractive road trips than Neyland.

The WLOCP cheap seats were a lil cheaper at $10,261 but we get 42,000 tix vs 8,500 in Knoxville...

Also Vandy is a lil deceptive cause we only get 5,000 in Nashville(cause of stadium size) vs 8500 in Knoxvegas..

So the UGA ticket office is lying??? Like I said we might've returned a few University promo tix that no one wanted...

Also...visiting fans only get the top 10-12 rows in each of those upper deck sections. the lower half of everyone of those sections are UT tix... Correct??

I agree. We had 2 extras we had to beg people to take, and were extremely lucky to get face (frickin 80 bucks). My buddy has 2 he's trying to get rid of with no luck yet I don't think.

On the other hand, I think folks smell blood in the water in Jax. We've got extras that we put on stubhub that I'm confident we can get $450 a piece for.
