I'm pretty sure they only won 2 SEC Championships from 2003-2007. Less than dominating. I'm not sure i would call that the premier team. Doesn't appear as if there was a premier or dominating team during that era.
However, the two Natties look legit.

We have a weak OL and a mediocre QB so if you expect more than 9-3 or a reach at 10-2 you're going to be a pretty sad LSU fan.
