I don't give a shite about Tennessee. If it was Auburn that fired their AD who was about to hire Leach then I'd say see Auburn. If it was Florida State who did that then I'd say see Florida State.
Tennessee is the example because that's exactly what happened. The boosters and administration cared to much to conserve that they thought football should look like and didn't want someone willing to speak their mind.

Congrats to you and them. Seems like a bigger accomplishment on the outside looking in, but I will defer to you since you’ve been there and done that. I would not be able to focus on anything my heart wasn’t into. Maybe I need adderall.

Are you a Texas tech fan? Because if so this whole conversation is quite ironic.

Of course I'm a Texas Tech fan. Though I'm also a Mike Leach fan
I was going to school when Leach was ousted by our boosters/administration and our football team has been less than mediocre since then.

The only way to play the Air Raid is to get pressure with your front four, tackle well, knock the hell out of the receivers, and never blitz. Blitzing is a fools errand.
Force a turnover or two (or on downs as he goes for it a ton on 4th), and you can blow them out.
But they will put up yards and points. It's like knife fighting. To knife fight you have to accept the fact that you are going to get cut.
This is a very spot on post. There's a very specific way you have to defend the Air Raid, otherwise Leach will embarrass you. It's not indefensible (see what Washington and Cal did to WSU over the years), but you better be super prepared and super disciplined.
There are probably teams in this league who will do OK defending it, but you've got to be willing to mix things up and possibly step outside your comfort zone.

Let's see how half good teams defend against it. If you can pass for 400 against Alabama or Georgia I will believe it.
