To be fair, didn't like half the team tell Currie they were transferring if Martin was retained?

I didn't really follow what happened with this

The rumors are there was a cheating scandal with one of the players, the team wanted Martin gone, Currie and Martin didn't get along blah blah blah

Don't listen to any of that media agenda driven bullshite. What actually happened was Currie asked Martin to feel his bicep. Martin politely declined, and that is when all hell broke loose.

See that may be true, I really don't know the ins and outs of what happened there.

But the players he has now seem to really like him.

People change, learn things. But generally if you are going to be a "player's coach," well you are one from the getgo.

So what should I make of what you said? I would imagine Kansas State doesn't sign snowflakes and never did.

So I'm not getting this one.

Martin seemed way, way, way more intense when he was a K-State and his first couple of years as SC than he is now. It takes a certain kind of player to be able to play for him.

I don't know what went down at K-State. We'll never know I guess.

I'm glad he's doing better now but shite was out of control at K-State.

allegedly.

Nobody has ever gone on record, and no legitimate source has ever written about it.

I'm not talking about any cheating allegations or dirty shite. Just the personnel issues he had. Martin was burning kids and HS coaches up without realizing it. I think he's learned a lot since then.

Truth.

Another example for us is Ray Tanner. He was apparently a bit of a hardass in his early days, but he loosened up a little bit and look what happened.

We all learn from our mistakes and grow.

I wonder how tall she is. I was thinking Martin was like 6'3" or 6'4"

You have it arse backwards. I live in the area and know many KSU alumni. Only person that wanted Martin gone was Curry. They just didn't see eye to eye. Look at all the better players that transferred after Martin left. It was the better part of their team. Jury is out on Curry still, could be a good AD, but if Bill Snyder doesn't like you then you must suck
