vs UGA & Auburn: 1 TD, 4 INT
vs LSU and 2 other cupcakes: 12 total TD, 1 INT
He's not a bad player, but he simply hasn't played well against a good defense.
Shurmur, even with a terrible game against Bama, is tied for the lead with 11 TD passes this year after throwing only 9 all of last season. He's definitely improved.

Yep - and he was the same way last year. He had tons and tons of yards against bad teams running and throwing, but he was a disaster against all the good teams he played.
He just can't throw the ball. At all. Hey makes Hurts look like Peyton Manning. You aren't going to beat a good SEC defense like that.

But I decided against it after copying it and accidentally created a mailing label that said: How bad did Gus beat your high school team?

Yea - doesn't look like he got any better over the offseason.
Dude has NO help. If it's a 50/50 ball then State probably lost it. He's not incredibly accurate but he did outstanding job getting ball out to avoid pass rush against AU just had no help around him. Don't think he's as bad as his stats indicate. He isn't the best in the SEC like some thought he might be coming into the season but he's not as bad as numbers have indicated the last two weeks
State desperately needs some dudes to step up at WR

Chark is trash. He wouldnt break the rotation at AU or Bama

I agree with that - but his accuracy is just absolutely abysmal, even in the best of circumstances.

Biggest riser: Davin Bellamy. He's going from what was expected to be a solid senior to a guy who is going to get paid after the draft.
Biggest faller: Trent Thompson. He hasn't played poorly. The opposite. But he was preseason all SEC and a possible 1st-2nd round draft pick after a junior season. Hopefully, he will come back next season to improve his draft stock.
Honorable mention: Roquan Smith. Projected to be a stud and he is. He might be the 1st ILB off the board in the draft after his junior season. He's too fast and too smart for teams to pass on him.

Malik Davis will be a top five back by years end. His ypc is almost 7 I believe, only issue is the bigger backs come in during goalline or he would have four or five.

Better ask LSU (2016), Vandy, UK what they think of Cleveland as a wr. Don't even ask UT what they think of him.
