There are 9 players on los. Could make an argument that maybe 1 or 2 WRs are off, but still legal.
Do you see the interior lineman (left tackle)? There is no one on the line of scrimmage to his left, therefore is an eligible reciever. NCAA rules states he MUST check in with refs to announce his eligible position prior to the play, regardless if he goes out on a pass route.
Did he do that? You know the answer.

The player would have to have control of the ball, which Mond did not have.
Well here is the entire sequence from the time Mond has his hand on the end of the ball until he starts to get back up. You can see the ball is definitely in his grip and it is not moving. It is not "pinned" to the ground in any way, it is gripped. He has it when his knee is a foot off the ground down to contact with the ground. He is clearly picking the ball up while his knee is still on the ground and the ball continues coming up as his knee comes back up.

I literally have no idea how you think the ball is pinned to the ground with 3 fingers. You are clueless or just making up shite.

this is my problem. THERE IS NOTHING CLEAR ABOUT IT. The ball is moving the entire time in normal motion. He doesn't have complete control of it until he stands up. He is basically using the ground to control the ball technically. which doesnt me he has control.
Regardless the play is extremely close and there is not undeniable evidence to overturn the call. If the call on the field was he was down, I would have not problem with it. The biggest gripe I have is that it was OVERTURNED.
