Hard to pick a favorite Skynyrd tune, but I’ll go with Tuesday’s Gone.

While I was never an Elvis fan, I had mad respect for him.

So here’s the story on that, when I bought Street Survivors, I bought the 8-track. So I had an 8-track with flames on the cover. I packed it away and saved until about 10 years ago. Sold it for $300

Cause its a great tune. Some of the rockers I like are Whiskey Rock’a Roller, Call Me The Breeze, Gimme 3 Steps, Saturday Night Special, etc

I saw a list several years of the top 10 live performances in US history of a single song free bird at that concert made the list.
Others Elvis had 2 bridge over troubled water 1970 Vegas and If I can dream 1968
Van Halen unchained from Oakland made the list
Frank Sinatra
Forgot the others

I was not an Elvis fan when younger. But I saw an old video of Elvis singing How great thou art in his prime. It was incredible just how great he was during his prime. Late 60's early 70's he was the best ever nobody close.

My family has lived in the SE Louisiana for nearly 300 years. Now, tell me what a true southerner is?
