22nd ranked player out of Alabama.. had offers from Arkansas, Miss St, Memphis and South Carolina.
This was really unexpected since he said he was a heavy Miss St lean last month.
4* on ESPN also and as #10 tight end

I thought he was a lock for us, but we only worked him out at TE this past weekend, and I heard he was PISSED b/c he feels he is a WR and not a TE. He only ran a 4.7 at our camp, and thats why he was put with the TE's. Mullen wanted him to be the hybrid TE like Aaron Hernandez was at Florida, but I guess he didnt like the idea of being a TE.

They were talking about him today on the MSU/ESPN site that he had committed to Arky, but it wasnt on Rivals or Scout.
We thought he was going to commit to us, and never knew that Arkansas was in the mix.

FWIW I dont know where you see he is a 4* he is listed as a 3* everywhere I have seen.
