I always appreciate your initial criminal analysis. It gives me a good ballpark, even if I know something could emerge to change the outcome or a judge or bad lawyer could screw someone or help them. I have no feel for what actions typically result in which kinds of punishment.

Shits funny sometimes. I've had things that I thought could get worked out and then, bam, no deal. I find out later that the ADA is going through a divorce or something.

Eh. Carrying Concealed is a "may" provision...doesn't carry a mandatory jail time deal. Plead it out for the max fine and focus on the big boy stuff.
YO petition evidentiary hearings are wide open. You can get in all kinds of momma wailing/hand wringing shite. You just have to get the county probation office to find that he is eligible.

Well it was a frat boy and he was drunk, so go beat him up. Also remember the part where RM went back and got additional friends to help.
For folks wanting a conviction before a final decision, these cases typically take over a year before they go to trial. Do you really want that?
