I love how LSU fans make sure to say "Bama never had the ball with a chance to take the lead"

But they still cut a 33-13 halftime deficit to 5 points with 5 minutes left

So did they have the ball with a chance to take the lead?

fricking idiot.

And I'm sure that Clemson would rather see Bama this year instead of LSU.

I'd rather see LSU than a coach who has won 6 out of last 10 or so titles and come close to winning other ones.

LSU's defense doesn't look great and I think Clemson has the best secondary in the country.

you keep going on about SEC schedule but LSU, many would say the 2nd best program had lost 8 in a row to Alabama. in my view, the bottom half of the SEC this year is weaker the the bottom half of the ACC. does anybody think Ole miss and Miss State and vandy and arky and kentucky could beat unc lol

Chicken,

Can we just ban this idiot. He offers nothing to this board except for maybe a good laugh every once in while. He constantly argues over scheduling as if his team even plays one

Chickens want to ban people for a difference of opinion. You live your life in the baby seat.

I've also pointed out accurrately that Clemson plays two P5 colleges out of conference, one of the few programs that has done that.

LSU only played one.

I have no obligation to validate your redneck sidewalk fan opinions.

ALl I have said is that you can't point to games b/t conferences to say SEC is superior to other conferneces.

People who want to ban people for opinions are the joke.

you have a fascist thug personality.

Texas AM didn't score a TD on Clemson until the last minute of the game against backup players.

To say Arkansas did better against Texas AM makes no sense.

And Bama spanked Duke! What’s your Point

why did you randomly capitalize point

Duke's near the bottom of the ACC so talking about Alabama beating Duke doesn't mean anything unless you think beating Duke is a good win and ACC is tough.

This discussion got kicked off with a LSU fan sneering about Clemson playing Wofford, one of two non P5 teams on Clemson's schedule. LSU has played 3 teams like Wofford.

I pointed out Clemson is about the only program to play two P5 programs out of conference. The only other I can think of is Florida. I"ll give Pitt UCF to go with Penn State.

I have never stated that I have a problem with LSU being ranked no. 1 or ahead of Clemson so what is the issue.

i sincerely think SEC fans exxagerate the toughness of their schedule every season. it's a crutch.

i have never heard Clemson basketball fans complain about how unfair it is they play in ACC against programs like duke, unc, lville and uva.

It's not that, it's just that we want Clemson so we can shut you up. Clemson has less impressive wins than Bama.

At least Bama played the #1 team in the country. Clemson has yet to play someone decent.

No justification for Clemson not being number 1. Can’t even remember the last time they lost a game. Burrow is great, but he’s no Lawrence.

You brought up the fact that Clemson beat Auburn in 2017 (when Auburn beat Bama to win the SECw).

During that season:
- Auburn beat Alabama by 8 points.
- Clemson beat Auburn by 8 points.
- Auburn beat Georgia once (by 23 points in the regular season) and lost to Georgia once (by 21 points in the SECCG).
- Georgia went to the national championship and lost to Alabama by 3 points in overtime.
- Alabama beat Clemson by 18 points in the semifinals.

Based on the outcomes I think it’s safe to say that all four of these teams were really good, and that they would have all been expected to compete with each other on any given Saturday.

Knowing that, let’s say you could pick any three teams in the ACC and replace them with Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn. Would the 2017 Clemson team have been more or less likely to make the playoff?

Tat game was an outlier....Bama was off and that happens sometimes.....I'd say Bama would beat Clemson easily now.

With your schedule,it is impossible for you to say that you have the best secondary and be taken seriously.
Lsu is and has been DBU for a long time!
The evidence is in the NFL
