Kentucky returns damn near everyone off a 10 win NYD bowl team, but hey, we've only been doing this for half a decade at this point and maybe it's time to admit we're competent and not a fluke. Just a thought.

That’s pretty awesome. Returning experience is nice to have especially on the oline.

When the guy who wrote the article says "way too early" it is just that.

No one has had a spring practice, seen the transfers in from the portal, or seen all the coaching transitions. Way too early indeed.

I'll agree that we're way too high. We have no idea who the QB will be or even what the 2-deep will look like. A team with that many unknowns shouldn't be ranked #4.

It's reality now.

Respected coach with a decent system in place, solid returning group of players (don't need to be stars, just need time in the system), influx of talent coming in.

Coaches are going to have to build teams yearly, from whatever they have on hand.

This is a reason LSU needed Kelly instead of Orgeron, or even some of the other coaching options that were out there. You figure a year to get his system in place (which we know works), and get used to the SEC matchups. After that, expect to be up there too.
