By the way, MSU has had as many good QB's as Bama has.
Are you high? Who has MSU had like Joe Namath, Ken Stabler, Richard Todd, Bart Starr etc...? Jay Barker is better any QB they have ever had.

Florida fans are really putting Tebow over Wuerffel/Grossman?
Yeah, it was very difficult to decide on this. Tebow is fresh in my mind, and makes it hard to make a unbiased opinion. It came down to hardware and rings, pure and simple. How can you argue that?
I never actually saw Spurrier so how can I rate him? Well, he won the Heisman so that helped put him up there.
What is sad is that I honestly forgot about Leak. I feel really bad about that one, the guy won us a NC.
Grossman, is very hard to rate as well considering that we never won any championships with him.
Well, based on all of this I would say that we have been pretty blessed wiht QB play over the years. I'm sure this list will change once I can look back on it over time.

Jay Barker = a less talented McElroy.
Quarterbacks like Namath and Starr just handed the ball off.
I'm just saying it's not like you guys are QB-U
Namath did bring the swagga though. His career was pretty much shite other than SB3

This is a big understatement
3 Heisman QBs, and Grossman should have been the 4th. Leak would be a legend at most schools.
For some reason, i think of Tebow as more of an athlete than a QB. He is probably the greatest athlete in Florida football, but not the best QB...if that makes sense.

What's unique about all three Florida Heisman winners..their Dad'swere a priest, chaplan and missionary.
Yeah,Grossman was robbed.

1. Manning
2. Kelly
3. Shuler
These were all the ones I have seen play and my top three. Started attending games when Kelly was QB

Georgia QBs are generally not in the same catagory as some other schools' greatest but our best would probably be David Greene (42-10). After that...Belue (had No. 34, so i don't know), Zeier, Tarkenton

One of the most beloved players in Mississippi State football history is former Bulldog Quarterback Sleepy Robinson. From 1989-1992, Sleepy led the resurgence of the MSU football program and will forever be remembered as one of the fiercest competitors to ever wear the Maroon and White.

Well, since the criteria has been narrowed down to QBs who actually passed the ball instead of just handing it off, I would have to say that the 3 best QBs in Alabama history were:
1. Steve Sloan (led us to the '65 national title)
2. Scott Hunter (shattered every 'Bama passing record)
3. Pooley "Papa" Hubert (led us to the '25 national title)
Alabama has had some AMAZING QBs in its history. I'm surprised no one has gone on to call it "Quarterback U." It's been quite a while since we put a good one in the NFL, however.

HA! Really? You're telling me that MSU has had QBs the likes of Pooley Hubert, Dixie Howell, Harry Gilmer, Bart Starr, Pat Trammell, Joe Namath, Steve Sloan, Kenny Stabler, Scott Hunter, Terry Davis, Richard Todd, and Mike Shula?
