Northeastern doesn’t look very good. Weak contact and a lot of balls beaten into the ground.
Their lefty starting pitcher was okay, but he was never going to be able to get enough of the right-handed hitters out to stay in the game long.

SEC teams should consider inviting these guys down for an early season weekend. They aren’t terrible, and 48-9 is legit, but you can tell they haven’t seen pitching and hitting like the 11th best team in the SEC can produce.

Yeah, he looked like a midweek starter for any SEC team. Maybe it was a bad outing, but he didn’t seem to fool our above avg offense.
I’m shocked how poor they look at the plate. Davis was a huge gamble for this start. He hasn’t been great, but I think you see the difference in leagues.
