That's the attendance at Dudy Noble today for their game versus Vandy.
Why the lack of interest, Dawgs?
I mean, you guys are having an average season, but goodness, talk about being fair weather fans. No more smack about Ole Miss football attendance.

Still, 2.6k?
I could see 4-5k or if it was raining.

I'm sure references to Omaha will be made in this thread.

Most students go home over the Easter Holidays and I'm sure a lot of Season ticket holders are skipping this weekend to spend time with their families

I guess not everybody finds immense excitement throwing beer in the air.

If we ever host a super regional again we will have about 13k

state will have the crowds again, no doubt. I think they should remodel some of the bleachers though

Yeah, Dudy Noble needs renovations in the worst way. Get rid of the bleachers and put chairs, then renovate the outside. I know that the left field lounge is a tradition and all and it's a very cool tradition that I've experienced many times. But it's an eyesore for one of the biggest venues in the nation. State has a baseball program with great history, and the stadium needs to reflect that.

For you young ones, State is the reason why the SEC ever gave a crap for baseball.

Polk and MSU have done more for SEC baseball probably than most programs have.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Byrne wanted to phase out the LFL, and many fans did not like this. I think his idea was to have something similar to what y'all have at Swayze.
I doubt LFL goes anywhere anytime soon. I don't really want it to either.
ETA: we really do need to remodel the outside and the hs style bleachers we have down 1st and 3rd base line. Leave LFL alone, imo.

It wasnt a flame. I just had to do a double take at that attendance. Surprised me even for Easter weekend.

Oh please, nothing says flame quite like putting the attendance # in the title.

I understand this 100% and it's really not a big deal. However, I know for a fact when we played UT 2 seasons ago on Easter weekend our crowds werent near that bad. I believe we played on the road last year on Easter.
