Yes, but who have they played? I can't say much because our defense is questionable, but I have to imagine it's better than most teams they've played so far. And will probably play somewhat well at home.

I would have agreed before Saturday. I think that "oh shite" game just happened and we aren't going to overlook anybody from now on.

I'm hoping for a bit of a let down in intensity for UGA. In the first 6 weeks they've had Clemson, SC, LSU and UT. I'm hoping their thought process is ok, we got through the tough part of the schedule, now let's just stay healthy through the bye week before we play UF.

Exactly. I can really see them saying "Mizzou, at home. Who have the really played?" And look right past them.

If you look past Mizzou, you will get beat.

You truly honestly think that we could do that after what happened Saturday? We have vanderbilt next week, not florida.

If we lose this game, it'll be because missouri played better than us, not because we "overlooked them".

I'm going to be rooting for MO. (duh)
I think this game will be interesting. GAg's defense has been very mediocre. How good is MO? Cupcake schedule so far, so we don't know.

If GAg wins running away, we know MO is all make believe. It think this will be a dog fight and can go either way due to all the injuries.

And this past Saturday is a variable I have not factored into this whole equation. I can certainly see where that may be the wake up call the team needed to get straight.

Well this game is turning out to be more interesting than I thought it would be at the beggining of the season

Truth - I don't want to take away from either team in victory or defeat.

It's time for our defense to step up this week. Obviously, some guys are going to have to step up at RB and WR, but this effect could be lightened if Murray continues to play well and the defense steps up. D played really well for 2 1/2 quarters last week, then miserable for a quarter and a half.

What's our WR line up looking like this week? Conley, Wooten, Davis, and McGowan to pair with Green and Douglas at RB?

Jesus, hopefully we get the TEs more involved.

Unfortunately that looks to be the case.

You think that's cute or something? It makes you look like a pathetic 12 year old.

If Gurley can go, I like Georgia by about a TD, otherwise it's a toss up.

I think it will also depend on whether Matthews and Norman can go. Everyone forgets that those two were also out vs UT. S was already pretty thin for UGA. With those two out, the S had to go all the way vs UT so I am not surprised they were very tired by the end. I seriously doubt Richt will play Gurley. In addition to the two freshmen, they have the two FBs as well. You will also see the TEs a bit more as well. They can even go a three TE set and leave Hugh Williams in to block. I am guessing we will see Tibbs and a few other receivers a bit more or even have Green go out in pass routes occ.

Another week, another ranked team for the Dawgs. This game is a huge question mark for everyone. It's in Athens. It's a noon kickoff. Will the students show up? Let's hope so.

UGA 37
Missouri 28

Come on, man. Tennessee played damn good football Saturday night.

Prediction: UGA 38
Mizzou 17

Edit: Hopefully, UGA can get more healthy.

If the Mizz O-line holds up our O will put up a lot of points on UGA's overhyped D-backs and have a shot at winning. UGA will put up a lot of points on Mizz pretty easy - I'm afraid our D isn't as good as last year.

Our D isn't as good as last year, but they are getting better with each game. Plus, they're light years more confident this year.

UGA got caught off guard against the VOLS. It won't happen two weeks in a row.

UGA 41 Mizzou 27

North Texas scored 21 points against Georgia (the same as the Mean Green scored against Tulane and Ohio). No other team has scored fewer than 30 against GA.

Missouri has not scored few than 38 (that was to a Toledo D that held Florida to 24).

I'm not predicting the win for Missouri. But anyone predicting Missouri to score less than 20 points is just throwing numbers out there.
