9-3 feels a little too optimistic for LSU.

We are basically rebuilding a house that Ed O burned down. However, the frame and foundation remained in tact.

Cats return a lot off a 10 win season. We are winning 9 or 10 again this year.

Maybe Harsin and his Boise St. staff will lead us to a 10-2 shocker of a season.

Harsin got rid of Bobo. No matter what that's a positive he has over our AD.

Never though I’d see the day where I’d be more confident about beating Florida and Tennessee but probably taking a loss against Kentucky in football but here we are.

They predicted the East to go 3-11 vs the West. So basically same as last year.

Yes he is a kid. A year or two ago he posted on this board that he wasn't even sure what team he'd be a fan for till he was accepted at UGA. I'm pretty sure he's still a student. That's still a kid imo.

Fairly certain he is a 40-year-old posing as a kid. The other day he claimed Stetson Bennett was in three of his classes, but had no response when I pointed out there is no way Bennett is in three freshman-level classes. He's also claimed to be in class with pretty much any known Georgia athlete being discussed, such as Arik Gilbert and Brock Bowers.

trying to look at this from a non bias perspective...

1. Trends, Arkansas is trending up with our coaching, retaining of staff, recruiting, especially the portal and of course, wins... The bowl game helps as well against Penn State in warm weather. Mizzou trends... Uhhh... Lost more than the year prior, with the same HC in his 2nd season, lost bowl game, recruiting trending up... but portal? staff retention?

2. History.... Looking at the history of both programs. Arkansas was solid with some very good coaches. Holtz, Ford, Hatfield, Petrino, and even Nutt??? and now Pittman.
Mizzou? Holy crap man, have you paid attention to your historical context in football. Well, I just looked, there isn't one. Thank God for Pinkel.

so, let's just start with only 8 win or above seasons.

and I chose 1962 forward as a outset, just for fun. No real reason here.but...

Arkansas has 31 seasons with 8 or more wins.

Mizzou has 19 seasons with 8 or more wins... and 9 of those are with Pinkel. Again, thank the Good Lord for Gary! Wanted him at Arkansas at one time. Well done with him, but... Geeze! Terrible.

You have no football history to think of honestly! terrible.

so, let's dive deeper. Trends. Arkansas has had several coaches get 8 wins or more.

9 wins or above now. just for chits and giggles

Arkansas 23 since again, 1962.
Missou 6 and... 5 of those with Pinkel

Arkansas did this with... Get this, follow the trend here please.. just for fun of course...

Frank Broyles, Lou Holtz, Ken Hatfield, Houston Nutt, Bobby Petrino, and now.... BADABOOM! Sam Pittman! YesSir!

I could go further back, but it makes it even look worse for the Mizzou Tigers.

Trends are going in different directions here... Capish?

It is without a doubt the worst 10 year stretch in program history. So you guys caught us when we were literally historically bad. That isn’t the case anymore

Arkansas has only won 10 games 3 times in the last 30 years. Arkansas is a decent program but it’s been a consistent 6-6 / 7-5 program for the last 3 decades now I’d say

Uh, Arkansas was 1-1 against Missouri from 2000-2010, then we started playing you guys again in 2014. Take away this past decade and you’re 1-1.

So he was right. You beat us during our worst decade in school history, congrats. That’s like bragging about beating Vanderbilt.

Petrino would’ve rocked you if he had the chance, and Pittman will continue to do so.

So many coaches progressed this year and won more games… Drunktitz lost more games.

If Bama and Georgia both go 12-0, will we see both in the playoffs again regardless of the SECCG outcome?

It's possible. I don't see us beating Alabama next year. You guys were young this year and we lose a lot. We'll be good, but not on Alabama's level.

I could see playoff seeds going something like:

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Georgia
4. Clemson or somebody.

Always possible they put Georgia at #4 to make sure we don't have another all SEC final.
Or, if Alabama beats us badly leave us out altogether.
