I do apologize for derailing the thread I do but I felt if I took this to tArk I would have been banned. I don't see how I am being stubborn either-(having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so)
There has been no good argument or solid reasoning to change my stance.

What amazes me is that this shite is institutionalized over there. If I saw actual official UA correspondence or signage referring to Auburn as "those frickin' boogs" or "the Barn" or something fresh off of TideFans circa 1998, I'd hang my head in disgrace.

In our defense, though, Texas University was their original name. They changed it to one-up everyone else in the state (think "THE" Ohio State University-esque blather).
So we call 'em by their God-given name.
