I'm shocked to see Florida finish so low. Supposedly (according to my Florida Gator relatives) UF held athletes out of the SEC meet to save them for the NCAAs. If that's the case, it didn't work.

I admit I don't understand track scoring, but the most interesting comment I've heard about Auburn's team is they don't have the depth to compete in the SEC Championships, but they do at the NCAA Championships.

You only need a handful of good athletes to do well in the NCAAs. Georgia's men scored points in only four events, but they won two events and finished high enough in two others to score 33 points. The scoring is spread across so many schools in the NCAAs that 33 points will get you second place. 33 points gets you 10th in the SEC meet.
