It's not a weird grouping of teams at all. It's the 7 teams that were picked ahead of them in this projection, which you yourself posted. Try to keep up.

It's weird to say State would "definitely" finish ahead of that group; including Alabama, Arkansas and A&M; but then act like Florida of all people is so good they might not be able to reach them.

Pearl will find a way to get Auburn into the top 4. Several Key Players are back and new blood at the guard positions.

Underestimate Mussleman. He keeps going deeper in the NCAA than any other SEC teams

VOLS have a very interesting team. Deepest team under Barnes for sure. They have added a lot of guys that should help them score in the halfcourt but I’m afraid when push comes to shove it will be hard for Barnes to go away from terrorist ball lineups when it matters.

It will be crucial for Tennessee that at least a couple of Dilione, Awaka, Knecht, Gainey, Ledlum and Estrella show at least average competence early in the season defensively. If they don’t Barnes will almost assuredly just do the easy thing and revert to the impossible to score and impossible to score on lineup of

Zeigler/Vescovi/Mashack/JJJ/Aidoo

Floor for this team is absurdly high. Newcomers will determine the ceiling.
