Will it be John Gruden, Bobby Petrino, or Chip Kelly?

We know you can have your pick because LSU is too poor to fire Orgeron. Jeff Long loves Bert like a brother. aTm is in a sticky situation with Sumlin over this race stuff. And Malzahn will do just enough and go 9-3 losing to Alabama and Georgia while making the outback bowl so Auburn will sign his arse up for another season. So UT, just pick whichever coach your little heart desires.

Bob Stoops is done with football. Why would he openly leave OU just to take 1 year off? Not happening.

They'll throw all these names out there and it will end up being some assistant or moderately successful coach from C-USA, the Sunbelt, or the MAC.

Their best best for a named coach is Petrino. He will be available after his 2nd loss in a row to Kentucky on November 26th.

No thanks...UT already has a coach who can't beat ranked teams.

Are you DAFT? Dude retired so he wouldnt die from the stress, but somehow you think he'd come coach you mouthbreathing, dramaqueen snowflakes? LMFAO.

This is not a urban meyer situation where he retired of butthurt syndrome and running away from several affairs with students, then re-emerged. Bob didnt frick students and the lil12 has no Saban. Oh, and Oklahoma is a FAR GREATER JOB than Tenner.

am i wrong?

I mean, seriously, Gruden is more likely than Stoops. They need to move on to Gruden w/ Peyton @ OC. That's your path, tenner fans.

This.

Anyone who thinks Stoops is getting back into coaching doesn't know anything about him. Stoops always said he'd retire by the age of 57 because that's when his dad (a HS coach) died en route to the hospital after a game.

He's not getting back into coaching.

especially not at a school that has fans like that. They'd kill off a 40 year old coach with heart conditions in his family history.

You are right...it is unheard of for a coach to leave a successful program, take 1 year off, then take another high profile job. Nothing like that has ever happened.

And this. He has said he was done, he's not Urban Meyer who uses quitting to get out of a contract.
